The Barista in La Junta

Under New Ownership now... still great service and food. Highly recommend for lunch. Had their new pasta salad and potato salad today, both were a great addition to lunch.

This is the little town coffee shop where your name and dietary preferences are remembered. Yes, the food is a little pricey, but the friendly, personal service is well worth it. Sometimes it runs slow at peak hours, but they take orders over the phone, so I call ahead when I'm in a hurry.

Everything you would expect - and more. Good food, good coffee, casual atmosphere. I visited while driving through but, by looking around the space, it looked as if they might have music sometimes as well.

Locally-owned great spot with surprisingly good coffee and espresso. The decor all have stories behind them and the owner is very personable. I'll stop in every time I pass through La Junta.

So effing glad this was here, I take the Amtrak home every holiday and found this place to chill while I'm waiting on my family to pick me up. Great coffee, wifi, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, really can't say enough good things.

The coffee is great and the service is good. They also have a full menu of sandwiches, soups and salads. The barista special is my favorite though there are many great options. A blta is not a bad choice either. If you're look for a wrap or sandwich then this is where you need to be.

What a great coffee shop. We had some hot and cold coffee and they were delicious! They offer breakfast and many lunch dishes! The atmosphere was inviting and very cozy! We will definitely return!

This coffee shop is AWESOME!! When I came to visit my mom from Los Angeles, I really needed a place like this with a great menu to choose from. The shop offers tables to sit at so you can get some computer work done, or just chill-out and read. Thanks Barista!!

Small vegan options but the 2 ladies working (one is vegan) were super helpful and attentive to our needs. 😇The place is inviting, cozy, clean and enjoyable. The atmosphere is so nice. We really enjoyed our visit. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee used is organic😍 We were in La Junta for a basketball tournament and they made us feel right at home! We will def return next time were in town. This place is a not a disappointment.
